Lianne Smith allegedly killed her two children after her husband Martin Smith 'used hypnotism to groom young girl and rape her' | Mail Online: "mother allegedly killed her two children in Spain after their father was extradited to Britain on sex abuse charges, a court heard yesterday.
Lianne Smith, 43, is currently being held in Spain on suspicion of murdering Rebecca, five, and Daniel, 11 months.
Yesterday their father, Martin Smith, 45, went on trial for the ‘systematic abuse’ of a girl between the ages of seven and 16.
It is alleged that the ‘domineering’ psychic would attempt to hypnotise the girl before the abuse was carried out.
Smith’s children were found lifeless on a bed in the Hotel Miramar in Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava on May 18 while he was awaiting trial in Britain.
Their mother, former social services manager Miss Smith, 43, has appeared in court in Spain where she admitted asphyxiating the youngsters with a plastic bag.
She is due to go before a judge accused of murder."
