expat bikie gang is operating on Phuket after a man was arrested yesterday and found to have two guns at his house.

Thai Ladyboy Stories: Cut and Uncut! (Patong Beach)POLICE in Patong have expressed concern that an expat bikie gang is operating on Phuket after a man was arrested yesterday and found to have two guns at his house.

The 40-year-old expat resident, who was named as John Lee from Australia, is accused of having put a .45 to his girlfriend's temple and threatened to kill her if she did not leave his house.

The woman, Suthisa On-Chat, 28, who is from Phuket, went to Kathu Police Station in Patong and told police that Mr Lee had put a gun to her head yesterday at the Nanai Road address and said: ''Go away, I don't want you in my house. If you don't go, I will kill you.''

Colonel Kittipong Kaikawn said that police went to the house, found two weapons, two magazines and a small number of bullets, and arrested Mr Lee.

Mr Lee denies the allegations. He said the weapons belonged to a Thai ''reggae friend'' who had left them in his safekeeping.

Lawyers for Mr Lee sought bail but police opted to keep Mr Lee in custody. He has been charged with menacing behavior and the possession of two illegal guns.

The investigating officer, Lieutenant Sakon Banditsak, said that police would continue their checks on Mr Lee and his activities.

Colonel Kittipong said Patong police had become increasingly concerned about the activities of a gang of tattooed, bike-riding expats around Patong.:Text may be subject to copyright. This blog does not claim copyright to any such text. Copyright remains with the original copyright holder.
