internal investigation carried out by the Royal Gibraltar Police into the incidents at Alcaidesa in Spain

"When the Gibraltar Police Authority said last September that it had requested a report on the Alcaidesa affair, the general impression was that the report into the affair would be made public, given that it had been a high-profile affair. Instead, the report has NOT been made public, and all that has now been put in the public domain is a brief press release about it.

The Press Release says: 'The Gibraltar Police Authority has overseen the conduct of the internal investigation carried out by the Royal Gibraltar Police into the incidents at Alcaidesa in Spain that occurred in August 2010, within the parameters of the Police Act 2006. The investigation has now been concluded.

'The Commissioner of Police has accepted the extensive report that includes several recommendations both for the determination of the disciplinary matter as well as improvements for internal organisational matters arising from this incident."
