British paedophile remanded for abusing 4 year old after changing his name when he arrived in Málaga: "A British paedophile has finally been imprisoned on remand in Málaga province, after being sentenced for child abuse in the UK, but managing to enter Spain by changing his name and, once here, abusing the 4 year old daughter of a friend.
The case has been brought to light by La Opinión de Málaga, who said the un-named British man was reported to police in Benalmádena in August 2004 after the four year old’s mother, who is also British, discovered he had been photographing her daughter in the nude. His van was located only days later, with discs containing more than 400 photos of young naked children.
The man was arrested and, despite being held on remand for 3 months, was then released without bail by a court in Torremolinos. His trail was lost in Lloret de Mar, and he was thought to have left Spain."
