Police probe Costa Brava resort death
Spanish police are investigating the death of a British man on the Costa Brava in Spain. The man, who was reported as being a 26-year-old Scot, was found in a street in the resort of Lloret de Mar at 07:30. Spanish police were said to be working on the theory he was found after a disturbance during a stag weekend. The fight was reported to have taken place outside an all-night bar about an hour before his body was found. A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: "We can confirm the death of a British national in Spain. "We are providing consular assistance to family and friends at this sad time. The Spanish authorities are investigating."
