Courier 'texted over drugs plot' court told - Wales News - News - WalesOnline: "A drugs courier was texted by a “Mr Big” in Spain when a major drugs deal went wrong, a court heard.

Drug Smuggling: The Forbidden BookLiverpool Crown Court today heard about the aftermath of an alleged drugs smuggling plot involving a former RAF pilot and ex-British soldier.

The court was told that 14kg of drugs, with a street value of £3.5million, were smuggled into Mona airfield in Anglesey from Le Touquet, France, in July 2009 in a private plane owned by David Watson, 54, from Prestwich, Manchester.

The plane was piloted by David Lloyd, 65, from Anglesey – a former RAF pilot and flying instructor."
