He was found in a water tank by officers and was identified by relatives.
An autopsy revealed that his death was caused by a knock to the head, thought to have occurred during a fall. The area where he was found is difficult to access and temperatures drop drastically at nightfall.
The elderly man, who suffered from senile dementia, left the house where he lived with his two children, who didn’t notice he was missing until they got up to go to work in the early morning, and immediately reported his disappearance"
