Civil Guard's Málaga drugs chief remanded to custody after more questioning by judge: "Civil Guard’s Anti-Drug Chief in Málaga, who was arrested last week in an Internal Affairs investigation into drug trafficking, has been remanded to custody after being questioned again by the judge. He was originally released with charges but, after a second round of questioning on Monday, this time over alleged document falsification, is now in prison.
Diario Sur said it relates to paperwork connected with a controlled delivery of drugs.
According to Sur, the Internal Affairs investigation began in the spring and led to a haul of almost 1.5 tons of cannabis seized on a beach in Marbella in September. The suspects who have been taken into custody since then include at least another 5 Civil Guard officers."
