Civil Guard search Town Hall offices in Ayamonte, Huelva:
"Town Hall offices in Ayamonte, Huelva province, were searched by the Civil Guard on Tuesday afternoon as part of an investigation into alleged planning crimes connected with Isla Canela, an urbanisation of 800 homes in a coastal area which was investigated a year ago for an allegedly illegal reclassification of land.It’s understood from El País that the complaint was later archived, but that it led to a new line of investigation and Tuesday’s search.
Officers were at the Town Hall for more than six hours and took away with them computers and a ‘full van load’ of documentation. El País indicates that the investigation is being led by Seprona, the Civil Guard’s nature protection branch."
