local police in Móstoles have seized just under 20 kilos of heroin from two men from Central Africa who aroused their suspicions while the officers were on traffic control on Monday evening.
EFE gives the heroin’s street value as more than 3 million €.
The officers had initially ordered the suspects to move their parked car away from a zebra crossing, but asked for their documentation when they became suspicious. Reinforcements were called in to help search the vehicle, which led to the discovery of 35 packages of heroin inside the false bottom of the car boot.
K.L. from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and T.M. from Angola were immediately arrested and handed over to the National Police.
