15 year old boy who had disappeared from Alfàs del Pi on Sunday was found dead on Thursday morning and, although it’s yet to be confirmed, is thought to have met an accidental death.

Civil Guard divers found his body submerged in the sea near the ochre mines in the Serra Gelada natural park, close to where his sweater had been found the previous day and which was identified by his father as his son’s.

The youngster, named as Joel Otazu, was last seen alive in the garden of his home at lunchtime on Sunday, when he decided to take a walk while his parents were preparing dessert.
