Exclusive: Boxer’s plea to MacAskill - Herald Scotland | News | Home News: "Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill is to be asked to intervene personally in the case of jailed former world featherweight boxing champion Scott Harrison after his attempt to be transferred from Spain to Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow was stalled.
Harrison’s lawyer, Ron Mackenna, is to make a plea to Mr MacAskill to step in on compassionate grounds to aid the repatriation of the sportsman, who has served more than two-thirds of his 30-month sentence for assault in Botafuego jail in Algeciras, southern Spain."
