Interpol hold up champ’s jail move
Interpol hold up champ’s jail move | The Sun |Home Scotland|Scottish News: "SHAMED boxer Scott Harrison's prison transfer back home from Spain is being held up by Interpol, it was revealed yesterday.
The police agency, which controls the movement of cons between countries, has yet to set a date for Harrison's move to Scotland.
We told yesterday how the ex-world champ's family is fuming over the hold-up - after the Spanish government approved his plea to return here for the final six months of his 2½year term.
But a prison service source in Spain said: 'The actual date of the transfer will be decided by Interpol. As soon as they decide to move him, he will be moved.'
Harrison, 33, from Cambuslang near Glasgow, was caged in 2009 for drunken assaults on a cop and a factory worker."
