Police union denounces ministers' official cars
The largest police union, SUP, has denounced the fact that each minister has, at his or her disposition, between 3 and 5 official cars, describing it as ‘a superfluous cost’. They say they have multiple cars in case of breakdown or cleaning. ‘They waste the money of everybody else like Arab sheiks while they make cuts and demand sacrifices from the weakest, from those who have nothing’, said the union in an article in their April newsletter. The article says that the first people who should be tightening their bests are not doing so.
